Bamboo forests are always truly amazing to me, but the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest is so much different than what I'm used to in Hawaii. The bamboo is almost more dramatic in many ways and is much thicker with an almost silver tint to it. I needed a long exposure with no wind to capture this amazing scene and somehow it all came together for this frame.
